God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life. Man came along and said nothing is for free and he –
not God- created religion. That is what the relationship is all about. He did it so we don’t have to. We
don’t work for it, earn it or pay for it in any way.
If you are of the opinion that I am incorrect, let me ask you the same question my Pastor asked me. Can
a prostitute be saved on Sunday and be back out on the streets on Monday doing the same thing? How
you answer that question is where your understanding is. No one wants to see that person back out on
the streets. Not me, not you, no one. The question is about the decision that the individual is free to
make and the effect that our decisions have to do with our eternal soul. The discussion topic is, "once
saved always saved?" The root of the discussion is, "Religion."
The Church of Jesus Christ is made up of those who have accepted him as their Lord and savior. Also
called the "Body of Christ." Go with me, into the picture frame of your mind and see the great temple of
God in the middle of the desert. Now see the presence of his Son, Jesus Christ, radiating out and flowing
over the tents surrounding the temple on every side. Looking out across these tents, we begin to see
the names written on top of them.
Upon one is written Baptist, another Church of Christ, another Protestant, and yet another Presbyterian,
Pentecostal, Assemblies of God and others. As far as the eye can see, the names continue and yet all
of the people encamped inside of those tents are there for one reason only. To serve our Lord Jesus
Christ. I would challenge you to rethink your position on religion and understand that as Christians we all
live inside of the same camp and worship inside different tents.
The purpose of writing this article was for placement on the home page. Remember the last statement I
made as you came in from that page, “If you have never said the prayer of salvation, please use the link
under Jesus Saves and ensure your eternal life with Him.”
Our job as born again believers in Jesus Christ of Nazareth is to get these people saved. If we
indoctrinate them with religion or show them a relationship with God the father, Jesus the son and the
Holy Ghost, we each have done our job. IF He is the focus of what we teach.
I am not a religious Pastor. The Word of Faith movement teaches something else entirely. That
discussion can be found on the Pastors Corner web page.
Thank you for your time and God bless all that you do for his kingdom.
Pastor Dan Morin

Is there a difference between a Christian, Roman Catholic, Protestant, Baptist,
Lutheran, Anglican, Episcopalian, Methodist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, Church
of Christ, Eastern Orthodox, Jehovah ’s Witness or a Mormon? If the person
has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior, they have repented (turned
away from) their sins and have made him Lord of lords, “shall be saved. “ Acts
2:21 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the
name of the Lord shall be saved. Whosoever means just that. Me, you,
him, her, all of us qualify.
To think that Jesus meant only you and not him is to ignore what Paul tells us in
Galatians 3:28 (KJV) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither
bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in
Christ Jesus. Jesus came to give us a free gift from God. John 3:16 (KJV) For
